The South Kansas City Alliance is hosting its third annual problem solving event which seeks to bring city hall to the community from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, October 27, at Canaan Worship Center, 5333 E Bannister Rd.
City, county and state officials with decision making authority will attend the event to meet with area residents to help them resolve any concerns or problems they have with state or local government agencies.
Participating Kansas City, Mo., agencies include the city council office, the city manager’s office, codes enforcement, fire, neighborhoods and housing, parks and recreation, planning and development, police, public works, the 3-1-1 action center, and water services.
Jackson County COMBAT and the county assessor’s office also will participate, as will the Missouri Department of Transportation and the UMKC Center for Neighborhoods.
Area residents may drop by the free event anytime, and reservations are not required. Persons should bring descriptions or pictures of their problems.
