The City of Kansas City, Missouri is in the process of updating its comprehensive plan. We’re calling it the KC Spirit Playbook and it will establish a long-range plan for the future development of the city.
The most important aspect of this process is to make sure the new plan reflects the values and priories of ALL Kansas Citians. Engagement with hundreds of Kansas City residents and stakeholders is happening right now at playbook.kcmo.gov. But, we need to get even more people engaged in the process and we need YOUR help to do it.
So how can you help? Great question! Below are a few ways to get involved and help shape the future of Kansas City:
- Participate in the dozens of online polls and activities on our interactive project website – playbook.kcmo.gov
- Help us get the word out by forwarding this message to your friends, family, and organization’s members
- If you have a newsletter, we would love to be featured or mentioned in it – simply use the attached graphics and info or contact us if you need additional information
- Let’s talk – staff would be happy to appear at your next remote meeting and discuss the plan, ways you can be involved throughout the process, and answer any questions
- Let us know about any groups of Kansas City residents, workers, or visitors that you think we should be talking to – just drop an email to Playbook@kcmo.org
