CAC is now presenting online classes to help make our corner of KC more stable and healthier.

David will prepare classic split pea soup and sheet pan oven roasted veggies. A great fall meal!
Tonika’s role with CAPA is to oversee facilitation of Second Steps, Parenting Skills Training, and the Strengthening Families groups. She will share her knowledge via a series of sessions offered by CAC.
Chair yoga is practiced either sitting or using chairs for support in various postures and is designed to mindfully increase range of motion while meeting students where they are. This class is ideal for those with limited mobility or healing from injury and people of all levels. How to Influence Others Using Developmental Assets & Developmental Relationships:
It is said some people seem to have a certain something that helps them be more successful. There is research to support this is a fact! This session will introduce two concepts that enhance an individual’s chances for success – Developmental Assets and Developmental Relationships. Research finds when adolescents and teens possess select assets, they are more likely to avoid the common setbacks be attracted to people and opportunities that help prepare them for positive outcomes.
