America: 250 Birthdays and Counting by Pinnacle Winds

June 28 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
$20

250 Years. One Nation. A Musical Celebration.

America’s story is filled with courage, sacrifice, innovation, and pride. Join Pinnacle Winds on Sunday, June 28, as we celebrate that story through music with America: 250 Birthdays and Counting.

Under the direction of Dr. John C. Carmichael, this special concert features a powerful program honoring our nation’s heritage and those who have served in the Armed Forces. Highlights include music by John Williams, Morton Gould, John Philip Sousa, Gordon Jacob, and Tchaikovsky, along with a featured performance of Stardust by local celebrity, author, and clarinetist Dr. Benny Lee.

We’re also delighted to welcome the William Baker Summer Singers, who will join Pinnacle Winds for selections including Hymn to the Fallen, 1812 Overture, and Battle Hymn of the Republic.

As part of a cherished Pinnacle Winds tradition, we will perform the Armed Forces Salute, recognizing veterans, active-duty military personnel, and their families.
