SKCA March 2024 Meeting

Please join us at 6 p.m. Monday, March 11, to hear from top leaders of both sides of the campaign to repeal the existing 25-year 3/8-cent countywide capital improvements sales tax for the Truman Sports Complex approved by voters in 2006 now set to expire in 2031 and replace it with a 40-year countywide parks sales tax of the same amount to help finance constructing & equipping a new downtown stadium for the Royals, modernizing & improving Arrowhead Stadium for the Chiefs and maintaining and operating both stadiums.

Our speakers have agreed to answer audience questions at our public meeting which will be in the large community room in the Red Bridge Branch of Mid-Continent Public Library, 453 E. Red Bridge Road, in the Red Bridge Shopping Center at the southwest corner of Red Bridge & Holmes Roads.
